StereoPhotoView - инструмент для просмотра и редактирования стереоскопических 3D-фотографий. Программа поддерживает работу со стереопарами в таких форматах как JPS и JPEG, MPO, а также раздельными файлами JPEG.
Стереопары в файлах JPS и JPEG - это обычные JPEG изображения, на которых расположено два ракурса рядом. Ракурсы могут располагаться следующим образом:
- горизонтальная пара,
- вертикальная пара,
- анаморфная горизонтальная пара,
- анаморфная вертикальная пара,
- анаглиф (устаревший формат).
В горизонтальной паре ракурсы располагаются бок о бок, в вертикальной - один над другим. В горизонтальной анаморфной паре изображения сжаты в 2 раза по горизонтали, в вертикальной анаморфной - по вертикали. JPS файлы могут содержать метаданные, в которых указывается используемый тип стереопары. В этом случае программа автоматически определяет формат источника.
Файлы MPO содержат два раздельных JPEG изображения для левого и правого ракурса. Такие файлы должны автоматически определяться 3D телевизорами в качестве источника 3D изображения.
Доступно несколько вариантов отображения стереофотографий на экране:
- моно - левый или правый ракурс (используется для отображения одного из ракурсов стерео изображения на обычном мониторе),
- чересстрочный - привычный режим для 3D дисплеев, использующих поляризационною технологию разделения ракурсов, таких как 3D телевизоры и мониторы LG (можно просматривать 3D снимки не включая 3D режима дисплея, а просто надев 3D очки),
- параллельная стереопара,
- анаморфная стереопара.
Также это приложение позволяет редактировать значение параллакса - относительный сдвиг видов по горизонтали.
