Классический двухпанельный интерфейс пользователя делает возможным работу сразу с двумя коллекциями ссылок одновременно. Описания ссылок могут быть получены автоматически с оригинальных Web-страниц. Гибкая система сортировки и пошаговый поиск обеспечивают быстрый доступ к необходимым закладкам. Link Commander осуществляет мониторинг в режиме реального времени Web-страниц, открытых в любом из поддерживаемых браузеров (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape Navigator, Opera и некоторые другие), а также Internet-адресов, сохраненных в буфере обмена, что делает добавление в коллекцию соответствующих ссылок простым и удобным. Такие инструменты, как проверка доступности ссылок, поиск дубликатов и синхронизация коллекций и папок, позволяют поддерживать коллекции в актуальном состоянии. Возможна автоматическая синхронизация с Internet Explorer Favorites "на лету".
Импорт и экспорт избранных закладок реализованы как для основных Web-браузеров, так и для обычных html-документов. Отдельные папки и/или целые коллекции могут быть защищены паролем. Вы можете обмениваться коллекциями ссылок с друзьями и коллегами при помощи функции пересылки коллекции по электронной почте. Встроенный многостраничный браузер позволяет использовать Link Commander в качестве автономного инструмента для навигации по Internet.
